DOLPHINS SHINE @ LANCS COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS

After last year’s County championships were cancelled due to covid, Clitheroe Dolphins were excited to be sending a strong squad of qualifiers to the 2022 edition of the Lancashire Championships.
The competition took place at Liverpool’s Wavertree Pool, seeing the best swimmers in Lancashire do battle over 3 weekends of intense racing.
Mike led a strong squad, with 10 Dolphins reaching the required minimum qualifying times for the event, and they all did us proud by doubling the team standing points tally the club posted in the 2020 edition of the event.
Individually the swimmers did well with three swimmers medaling and several swimmers reaching the finals of their events.
