TIME TO HEAD TO THE COAST AS BLACKPOOL ROCKS GOES AHEAD ON MAY 28th & 29th at Palatine Leisure Centre
Rocks is a great all-round gala and an ideal opportunity for those swimmers who want to take their first steps into the world of competitive swimming. It’s also a staple in the calendar for those looking to post times for next year’s Counties and those just wanting to compete for fun.
We really do encourage all swimmers to give it a go as it’s a busy lively gala, and a great experience for all the swimmers. We are taking entries now so that we can submit them when the entry window opens. This is a first come first served gala and usually fills up within hours.
Our internal deadline is 11.59pm on Sunday 10th of April, any entries received after this time will not be processed in our first submission.
To enter please look at the programme and consideration times below & complete the entry form below:
Please remember to pay US your entry fees plus a £2 admin fee to cover our costs. If you have any questions, please ask a poolside helper at training or email [email protected]

Ribblesdale Pool in Clitheroe has become the latest organisation in the UK to achieve Swim England's Water Wellbeing standard.
The Water Wellbeing mark is aimed at transforming community swimming pools into places for health, wellbeing and rehabilitation. It recognises the organisation’s efforts in making the pools more accessible and inclusive for people with long-term health conditions.
Councillor Stuart Hirst, chairman of the council’s community services committee, said:
“It’s wonderful to see Ribblesdale Pool achieve this national award. It’s a testimony to the hard work of staff and the enthusiastic support of the pool’s users.
“Swimming and water-based activities are well-known for their health benefits for people of all ages.”
