
Leaders from across local government and the fitness and leisure sector are urging the Government to ensure that the £400 million announced in the Spending Review for grassroots sports facilities is directed towards vital community assets such as leisure centres, swimming pools and local gyms.
Swim England and AP Race have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will see the two organisations work collaboratively to drive positive change across the swimming sector in England.

Clitheroe Dolphins turns 50 this year and as part of our half century of celebrations we are hosting our very 1st Level 3 Gala, at Darwen Leisure centre on Sunday 8th October 2023!!
The POD met with the elite coaches from the Adam Peaty Race Clinics earlier this week at our Stonyhurst College Pool Venue. It was an opportunity for our Swimmers and their Parents to meet with elite coaches and learn, discuss and practice ideas, techniques and processes that help in races.
As we approach the new academic year and new swimming season, we are looking forward to getting back into the pool and working towards another season of personal bests, improvements in our swimmers and ultimately county, regional and maybe national recognition.
