Following on from the success of Dolphins Dash 2023 & 2024, Clitheroe Dolphins are pleased to announce Dolphins Dash will return for 2025 at Darwen Leisure Centre on Sunday 12th of October.
Dolphins Dash is an event that appeals to all swimmers with events taking place over 50m & 100m and is perfect for all swimmers from beginner to regional level.
Like previous years, we will be awarding two sets of medals, with A & B grade medals rewarding both county and non county level swimmers. There will also be spot prizes, fun in the sports hall, and hopefully the return of our animated race commentator.
Dolphins Dash is a high energy, audience participation event so prime your swimmers and rest your voices for what will promise to be another loud, fun and medal laden event.
Entries will only be accepted from 7:30 pm Tuesday 2nd September 2025
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED PRIOR TO THIS DATE.
Entries shall be accepted on a first come first served basis up to and including the closing date, Tuesday 23rd Sept 2025 at 6pm or when the gala capacity has been reached whichever occurs first.
Accepted entries will be posted on the club website after the closing date or when the meet is full.

Ribblesdale Pool in Clitheroe has become the latest organisation in the UK to achieve Swim England's Water Wellbeing standard.
The Water Wellbeing mark is aimed at transforming community swimming pools into places for health, wellbeing and rehabilitation. It recognises the organisation’s efforts in making the pools more accessible and inclusive for people with long-term health conditions.
Councillor Stuart Hirst, chairman of the council’s community services committee, said:
“It’s wonderful to see Ribblesdale Pool achieve this national award. It’s a testimony to the hard work of staff and the enthusiastic support of the pool’s users.
“Swimming and water-based activities are well-known for their health benefits for people of all ages.”
