Dolphins finish 3rd in Round 2 of the North Lancs Swim League @ Blackpool
14 Mar 2022

Our swim league team travelled to Blackpool’s Palatine Leisure Centre to take part in round 2 of the North Lancs Swim League on Sat 12th March.
After finishing third in the first round of the competition, the team went into the gala looking to overhaul rivals Ormskirk and Preston B, as they try to make it into the top two promotion places before the end of the season.
The team started well, racing into a lead after 5 events and with the girls Under 12’s quartet again proving to be invincible in the relays & with some brilliant performances across the squad, prospects for a high finish looked good.
As the gala progressed Preston B, Ormskirk and Dolphins consistently swapped places as swimmers from all three teams excelled with excellent swims, however in the end the outcome was the same as in Round one in Darwen with Dolphins coming a highly creditable 3rd.
